I know we are all horrified by the current situation in Haiti. Instead of buying that next Lock 'n' Lock, why not help me out in my fundraising efforts? I've given some but know there is strength in numbers.
Help me out and let's see how generous we letterboxers can be helping those who can't help themselves. I've primed the pump but could use your assistance. Please help me support the efforts of one of my favorite Northwest charities: http://www.mercycorps.org/fundraising/funhog

I'll match you, Funhog, and challenge any other of our Lb friends to do the same! A couple less L'N'L's won't hurt the game none...

Thank you! I'm looking for some ladies to step up to the plate. Remember, "Girls rule, boys drool!"

Really brings into perspective the statement,
"Live simply so that others may simply live."
Challenge: Choose a day and go without food for the entire day; take the money you would have spent on food for the day and donate it to the fund-raising effort. Not only will your few dollars provide food for many victims of the earthquake, but it will also give you insight into what it is like to be without the things we all take for granted, like food.
